Chamber Log — Parliamentary Activity Tracking System

Effective opposition requires more than presence in the chamber. It requires a clear, consistent record of what every Opposition MP is contributing — in debates, questions, and committee work. Without this, it is difficult to measure performance, identify gaps, or support MPs to do better. Chamber Log is an internally developed software system that records, tracks, and analyses the parliamentary activities of all Opposition MPs. It covers chamber contributions, committee participation, and engagement records. The system is also being developed to integrate AI capabilities, enabling fully automated live analysis for MPs and back-office staff, with outputs also made available to media. This tool directly strengthens the office's capacity to coordinate opposition MPs, maximise accountability pressure on government, and ensure that the parliamentary work of the opposition is transparent, measurable, and improving. Deployment is expected from May 2026.
