National Productivity Awards 2025/2026
Public institutions must lead by example. If the Office of the Leader of the Opposition demands accountability and performance from government, it must first demonstrate those values itself. That is why the office apply for the National Productivity Awards competition for 2025/2026 — a first for a parliamentary opposition office in Sri Lanka. The office has completed a full internal preparation process, covering staff training, systems review, and procedural alignment with award criteria. Documentation is being finalised for submission. Competing in this award is not merely about recognition. It signals to every government institution, and to the public, that democratic oversight works best when it comes from an office that holds itself to the same high standards it demands of others.
