Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa visited the Malasiripura Na Uyana Forest Monastery in Kurunegala, where a tragic accident occurred recently due to the collapse of a cable duct, resulting in the passing away of seven Buddhist monks.

After paying his final respects to the departed monks, he engaged in further discussions regarding the incident and met with the chief prelate of the monastery to explore the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
