Reach Out Diary

Reach Out Diary
The work of the Leader of the Opposition is not confined to Parliament. Citizens from across Sri Lanka bring their grievances, concerns, and appeals directly to his office. These encounters are among the most important sources of intelligence about how government policies are — or are not — serving the people. The Reach Out Diary documents all organised public grievance meetings with the Leader of the Opposition, recording both the issues raised and his responses. This creates a transparent, traceable record of citizen engagement and opposition follow-up. It is a direct expression of the office's commitment to amplifying marginalised voices and ensuring that the concerns of ordinary citizens shape the opposition's parliamentary agenda. The diary is updated continuously throughout 2026.
