Objectives

Support the Leader of the Opposition in fulfilling official parliamentary duties and public responsibilities through administrative coordination, scheduling, briefing preparation, and logistical support.

Coordinate monitoring of government institutions and ministries by organizing information gathering, examining government policies, compiling performance reports, and facilitating opposition response strategies.

Facilitate analysis of government proposals by coordinating expert input, preparing policy briefs, and supporting evidence-based opposition responses through parliamentary procedures.

Coordinate the development of alternative policy frameworks and constructive solutions by engaging policy experts, conducting research, and formulating comprehensive alternatives to government proposals that address national challenges.

Maintain networks to identify emerging governance failures, support opposition scrutiny of democratic threats, ensuring timely alerts and coordinated opposition responses.

Facilitate organization of opposition demands for government accountability through parliamentary questions and committee engagement while ensuring information access.

Coordinate opposition parties and MPs through strategic planning, coalition building, and resource sharing to maximize accountability pressure on government.

Cultivate relationships with civil society, media, legal experts, and citizen groups to support opposition objectives and enhance oversight capabilities.
